News fader rotation

Ive almost always had just one item in the news fader but recently added another, but i though there was a way to get it to fade form one to the other whithout reloading the page, i cant seem to find that setting.  Is there a way to do that?

It's not a setting, that's how the news fader works.  It should not be reloading the page.

Please do note that there are two locations for the News...

one requires a page reload to rotate through
one is the news fader which uses javascript to rotate...

for example -- on this site, the news in the top right is *NOT* the news fader.
