errors updating settings in admin menu

Hi,

Im unable to save anything in settings, when im saving the forum dowloads "index.php" and Im unable to admin the forum.

Do you ever have experienced this?

Regarding this: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=203812.0 try to use the default theme and see if the problem goes away. If not, please provide us with much more details such as smf version, url, mods installed, themes, any manual edits, host...

What does the index.php file contain when it gets saved?

my hosting is Strato and the traffic of my site is just 25 users per day

Which index.php IS that? Not the one in the root of the forum, surely? It can't be, coz your site's working...
