Are you using a custom theme?
If so, Ad Management installs to the Default Theme.

Can anyone help me to get this to display ads properly (it installed just fine) with the "Propaganda" Theme?

I installed the mod, and have added an ad, but it doesn't appear anywhere.

Go into Admin > Permissions - then set the permissions for each user group to see the ads.

This mod installs onto the default theme. You have to manually install it onto the Propaganda theme.

i uninstall the Ad Management and reinstall it this is the error message i find in the forum error log

Unable to load the 'Ads.english-utf8' language file.

i have get it to work and once again thank for your help
here is what i do
First and foremost, go into your admin panel. Go under "Server Settings", and check your main forum language. Make sure it's set to english. Not utf8-english.
and that fix it

@ Pspuser007: Look for variations of that. Like "template_menu" instead of "template_menu();"
What do you mean?

He means to look for the defined function that parses out the menu. Usually it is defined as template_menu(), however some custom themes use a different variant in terms of words.
It happens with the default theme in 2.0b4!!

Thanks! I think I'll have to take some time to figure this out. Any idea if in the future there might be an option to install it to a theme of your choosing?

That would actually not be possible, or the package would be so big, it would be hard to install.

Most themes have so many differences, it would take about a year to code a mod to every theme. Then when done, the mod would be so big, it may not work right.

Think of how a mod installs in the package manager. The list of files and whether the mod can or can't modify the files would be so long, the scrollbar would be a very small bar, indeed. Also, for people that would have to manually install, because of other mods, the install file would be way too long for them to be able to find what they need easily.

The ads are working fine for me, but I'm the only one who can view them!

How do I make it so that all guests AND all my members can see the ads?

I have a custum theme, Blues Mega Color, and I have tried using the ad management mod but it doesnt display. I have tried altering the script to work with my site but with my limiting scripting knowledge I cannot successfully do so.

Hi guys

Couple of questions regarding the advert management mod for v2b4.

1) Can it handle a javascript code within a html code? see code I'm trying to use:
<a href="javascript:void(0)" mce_href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('http://www.pupuplatters.com/pupuplayer/pro/pupuplayer_pro.php?id=384′, 'linkname', 'height=235, width=450, scrollbars=no')"> <img src="http://www.40kradio.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/listennowbutton.gif" mce_src="http://www.40kradio.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/listennowbutton.gif" alt="40K Radio Player" border="0"></a>

2) Is there a way I can display 2 different adverts at the bottom of the page side by side.

On this second 1 I have tried aligning the divs left and right. but all they do is alternate between the adverts. Ideally I would like them both permanently positioned.

Thanks

What I do, is make up my ad somewhere, using a table.
In the table, put one ad in left side, one in right side.
Then place it into the ad management for the location you want.
