Set color on name

How can i set colors on names? ( Accounts )

Could you be a bit more specific?  Do you mean colours in the sense of permissions (i.e. making a user an admin, Global Moderator, Moderator), or do you mean colours which you want to assign to regular users?

I'm gonna take a wild stab at this, coz you don't give us a lot to go on, there...

Admin>Membergroups.

Click "Modify", alongside a group name.

On the new page, look at "Colour in online list:" (That colours need to be in Hex format)

Is that what you mean?

you can set the color of usernames based on the membergroup.

You can not set a username color on an individual user basis.

These mods are for earlier versions of SMF. The MIGHT install on v2.0.4, if you use emulation (Click the "Advanced" thing, when you install them). But, they might not. So, before you try them, read my sig.

use the package manager.... (see the wiki/manual)

you need to ask for help with the mod in the thread dedicasted to supporting the mod.

Roz, I still don't get what you want to do.  Do you want to assign different colours to named individuals, or do you want different colours for different member groups?

I think the specialists here would have a much easier time helping you if you could be more specific .

I saw that, too. VERY unlikely that it'll work with v2.0.4.

Been thinking, though...

Admin>Current theme>Show group key on board index.

You'll need to make sure that each group has a colour defined, obviously.
