Sorting events (topics) listed under board

Greetings,

I am adding events to the calendar and also have them posting to a specific board.  The events are sorted from newest to oldest but I need them to sort as oldest to newest in order to match the chronology of dates, ie. first post should be January 1, 2015 then January 12, 2015, etc.  Currently they show the opposite order. 

Appreciate any assistance.

I tried the mod site but couldn't find anything for the release I'm using.

Thank you very much - I'm not a seasoned SMF user yet and the link to the emulator info helped to complete the task.  I greatly appreciate the assistance and patience.
