While trying to upload the SMF4Mobile2.5.4 I received the following error:

Package upload failed due to the following error:
"Although the package was downloaded to the server it appears to be empty. Please check the Packages directory, and the "temp" sub-directory are both writable. If you continue to experience this problem you should try extracting the package on your PC and uploading the extracted files into a subdirectory in your Packages directory and try again. For example, if the package was called shout.tar.gz you should:
1) Download the package to your local PC and extract it into files.
2) Using an FTP client create a new directory in your "Packages" folder, in this example you may call it "shout".
3) Upload all the files from the extracted package to this directory.
4) Go back to the package manager browse page and the package will be automatically found by SMF."

I followed these instructions by creating a folder in Packages that I named SMF4Mobile2.5.4 and after extracting the zip file onto a new file on my PC, I uploaded them all to the new folder SMF4Mobile2.5.4 in my packages folder.

I am supposed to see them when I go into the browse menu for packages. This new mod is not showing up.  What am I missing?

Also, there is a shout folder also in the Packages folder. Should that be there? This directory was created by me probably from a mod from a few days ago. Please give me a rundown on what the Shout folder is for. Is it just the dummy name from the example from the above error message?

Thanks in advance.

But, answer is looks like you are uploading the theme to the package manager. You need to upload the theme to using the themes section.

Thanks VBG. I put it here because of the wider question about the folder I added from a previous mod and I guess I should have asked what all goes into the Packages folder anyway?

The theme uploaded successfully but the mod did not. So I'll leave my question related to the Packages file and go work with the mod developer on the mod.
