how do i put text links into my forum header

Hi
can anybody tell me how to put text links into my header ,i wish to put links from my forum ,so people can click on and go back to my main web site .i have tried looking far this info in tips and tricks ,but not haveing much look ,any info would be very welcome.

The Mod Global Headers and Footers, should resolve this.

Alternatively you could add a tab to the [Home] [Help] [Search]... menu. Various places for guidance on that which depends on which version of SMF.

Exactly. If you want the text links truly IN the header, use the mod.

If you want to add a MENU link, that's a different story.
