Maybe THIS is the right place to post- Require names when registering

I tried this with an earlier version and got lots of help but stopped playing with it when it acted up.  I just upgraded my forum to 1.07 and want to try this again.

I have a school and want to know who is registering.  I want to require them to enter their first and last name when they register.  I have Method of registration set to Member Approval (I can change this if needed.)

Is there a mod package out to do this or an option to set?  If not, is this an easy thing for someone to create?

Everyone was really helpful the last time and I am hoping with all the upgrades (from smf 1.2) this will be easier now.
