But it is on my language (I'm ukrainian). So please use translators, before i could translate it to English.
Solved: Translation by Dirxim (English, German), Yoshi2889 (Dutch), Herr_Inoddorell (Spanish)

How it works: entering data into the fields, click OK, the script creates new tables in the your database for SMF 1.1.12 with another prefix.

It does not save your passwords anywhere. Waiting for feedback.

Best Regards,
Andrew aka SpyFinch

I believe Masterd was asking for an "offline" version ;) The idea of your converter is great but there are two major concerns:
1) most MySQL servers allow connections from "localhost" and nothing else, therefore your tool wouldn't work
2) Is your converter trustworthy? Don't feel offended but your remote converter needs access to the user's database server and the user has no chance to review your converter. Maybe you're collecting email adresses, maybe you're collecting Mysql passwords? I don't know and I can't check it.

Again, don't feel offended. I highly appreciate  the work you've done.

That was in my mind when I aksed for the offline version.

Sorry for the late answer, I was working  ;) ;) ;)
http://spyfinch.org.ua/conv/conv.zip there is a converter (which has "localhost" enabled).
Please don't create a mirror URL to download the converter! Use the link which is above if you want to recommend it to others or publish this review on your personal page or site.

To the SMF developers: I do not mind if you include this converter to the official list of converters  :D

What is the php error? See the log file named error_log in folder conv.
I checked the converter. Everything works.

Does it work for SMF 2.0 RC5?

I cannot use it because my site runs on localhost, though.

Download converter from msg: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=416981.msg2934344#msg2934344 (Instructions are in the archive)
and try, but don't forget to create DB backup. Any time later you could restore this backup. After report in this topic pls  :)

Thanx  ;)

Finch,

I tried your tool with 1.1.13 and it worked ok. I needed to adjust the themepaths, but it's fine now.
I've read you wanted a translated version? I just did one, see screenshot below.
If you still want it, it'll be an honor for me to fire' it to you

Later,
DirXim

Yoshi2889,
It would be great if you could translate the source code which can be downloaded.
But, of course, I can do it tomorrow (in Ukraine is now half the night))).

Thanks again!

Dirxim

Thats great yosh!
If you do not have the time guys, I can do that for you
