Yup, I'm quite a while on this forum. I probably registered when there was no check for such things. Can you change my username?

there is no check for those things as they are valid in a username, the issue is how the bridge with the wiki handles these.

also if you do change your username, it may make it harder to tell if a fix actually fixes the issue.

also i believe due to the error, the wiki should be trying to create an account for you so you may exist in the database and a new username may just create more problems that need to be fixed.

the space is not the issue, just the | and although the site team fixed the issue, they did not upload the new file for the auth to the wiki.
