Remove child boards

I just want to remove the child boards off of my site. I have tried to install plugins for it but I guess my theme is not allowing it.     There is other things I want to do but this this site is very very new.

any help would be awesome.

Do you have child boards on your site that you want to delete or do you just want to remove the options to make a child board ?

Hey there,

This would require an edit to BoardIndex.template.php, as well as MessageIndex.template.php of your theme. If you don't know how to do that, try attaching those two files here and see if you're lucky enough to have someone do it for you.

I would like to make them not visible on the front. Is there a way to do that?

Yes, by editing BoardIndex.template.php. That file contains the code that displays the child boards on the board index.
