It doesnt seem that anyone is maintaining/updating this. It's not listed as compatible with 2.0 either, sadly.  I think this Media Center has potential but it doesnt scale... Needs much better sorting and filtering!

It sorts fine for me... I can sort by user, topic, size, name, and downloads (popularity)..

I really don't see what else it needs.

Sorting by date to see the latest things uploaded.  Also do you have caching enabled on your forum? With caching enabled, all sorting is broken.

It sorts by Filename by default for me, and I havent found an option to change that.. And if you sort by Posted By it sorts by the username not date

You can simply add a new sort array for time if you wish.

I did, but with caching enabled, it only sorted the rows that were on that 1 page, not all potential attachments.

Well thats out of my ball park as I don't see or understand much about how caching works or how it could break perfectly viable code. From my point of view which I will admit is limited I would think something is wrong with the caching service.

How do you sort out all uploads from board 17 that end with zip, pdf, doc, docx? I don't want images, videos, or music.

Question to the mod author:

Currently, only users in membergroups 2 and 3 can download attachments (as a global permission); other membergroups are allowed to "see" the attached files in the thread, but are not allowed to download. Unfortunately, in this mod, permissions to 'see' and 'download' are combined together. Is there a way of having the permissions separated, so that individuals can either see or download. This will help me out because I would like members outside membergroup 2 and 3 to actually see the files (that is, see that the files are physically there), but not be able to download them. Currently, if I give membergroups 6 and 7, for instance, the permission to see/download images in the media center, it allows them to surpass (or cheat) the download permissions set in each board and download things in the media center instead.

How can I make this happen?
