osdate mod

Hi,

- I've been posting in another thread, but got no reply. 

- There is alsready an smf-osdate bridge, but it adds new users to the
newbie group

- I would like to give some of my smf users the opportunity to use osdate, don't want to show all smf users in osdate

- Would it be possible to make a new general group for osdate in smf and osdate and to make a user choose if he wants to use osdate so he will be visible in the osdate memberlist and search_profile.

- When a new user (already registered in smf) will log in it would check if this name is already in the smf_users database and if yes, it would move him to that osdate general group, if not, it would register him as a new smf user and move him to that general group.

- When a user will disable his profile in osdate, it would remove him from this general group.

- Could a user be a member of two or more general groups (for example moderator and osdate)?

- Or is there a better way to solve this?
