I can not manually delete +1000 account.
There exists a function to massively delete all inactive members (forum maintenance > members > delete inactive members)... So there's certainly a way to do the same to delete users with 0 message.  :-X

This is not recommended. Better delete them in the Administration Center.

Thanks for answering.
Optimus is given as version 2.11, but there is a problem with the package installation. I had it installed and later tried to remove it. It did not work...now it sits there with a button for listing the files and one for deleting it, but none to Install or Uninstall. I did not dare deleting it fearing that something unrelated might break.

Hi guys!

Is there a way or a SQL command to delete (or at least ban) ALL users with 0 message, please? I'm not talking about "inactive users". Just users with 0 message.

I explain why: Between 2015 and 2019, a lot of account have been created. They were completly inactive until recently, and (surprise!) they appear to be russian bots posting X spams. It's like trojans, hiding since 5 years in the house... So I'm pretty sure that if I delete ALL users with 0 message, the problem will be solved.

Let me guess, using Optimus, latest beta version?

That is a non existent action that would normally not log an error.

Several times a day the forum shows error messages like the one below:

 https://xxxxxx.com/forum/index.php?action=register  Backtrace information

Type of error: Template
Error messageSelect
Unable to load the 'main' template.
<unquote>

Is this from bots trying to register?
Checking the IPs found that they are from different places like South Africa, China, USA.
Sometimes it is only a few seconds until a retry from the same IP occurs, sometimes a few minutes.
None of these have successfully registered, that is why I suspect that it is a bot abandoning the try and doing another one just shortly after.

What is the 'main' template? Shall I just ignore the whole thing? These errors started suddenly and are usually within about ten or a dozen a day. It may have started after I had to unblock registration via VPN access for legitimate users.

The problem does not seem to be on the side of the forum. The code appears mostly with one specific user, and occasionally he gets it right now..
The cause seems to be his input device, or the way he uses it; he appears to be copying and paste from somewhere, not a plain text entry, resulting in this. He uses a tablet. I'm going to mark this as solved.

Did you check the SERVER error log? Getting a white screen will most likely be something that's not logged in the forum logs. From your answer it's not clear what log you checked...
