Any idea why emoticon set won't update?

I have been trying for hours to update my emoticons and I have set the default to that droid theme (love it lol) but for some reason it chooses "Aaron" and so I deleted the aaron smiley set folder thinking maybe it would force something somewhere to update and now it still requests the aaron emoticons but shows a broke image instead.

In the smiley settings, are the paths correct?

Normally, the "Base URL to all smiley sets" is a normal URL, like http://www.yourforum.com/Smileys

But, the "Absolute path to all smiley sets" is something weird, like /home/forum/public_html/Smileys

admin -> current theme select default smiley set for this theme

also it is not recommended to just delete a smileys folder without removing it from the admin panel.
