MISTAKE: I can not find Joomla! XML an adjusting file in a package.

The adjusting file is not found:
/home/flanker/public_html/media/install_45184de0a5fd3/

Unzip the package first.  Then install the com_smf.zip that's inside.

Your server is most likely in safe mode, which will prevent you from installing components, modules, and mambots.

I installed VirtueMart and it work is good.  But I am very afflicted that the bridge is not installed.

sounds like you may have a problem with safe mode...   ask your host to turn safe mode off...
