I thought somewhere there was a button that I could press that will initiate a Database Backup from within SMF, but I can't seem to find it.  Am I crazy?

Okay!  Good, I'm NOT crazy.  LOL  That would explain why I can't find it.

It was never really the recommended way to backup, because it wasn't exactly reliable, and was more a last resort option to try and gain a database copy if other options were not available. You are better off using your hosts tools for the job, or even phpmyadmin directly.
