Let me explain my problem as follows ;
E-mail list with 2x version to send to my e-mail limit and has been very good this feature.
However, my example I have a forum membership of 40,000 and the my server at normal level
Such a situation can get to be one day take my e-mail. and they all need a healthy does not reach the required status from the system server.
- I recently tried. Top of page and 1 min also did both sending e-mail.
- 30 days is the way to 40,000 members.
- Then I tried the 100 number..
Most e-mail forwarded but not the normal way, and I came back I got suspended.
I saw the overload is my server
A function such as e-mail stop listed on the Send Mail Queue Now behind may stop Or To cancel/clear the rest of the list ?
Stop creating problems to A kind of list to clear
Is it a bug or is this request?
Its definately more of a feature request than a bug.
I'm not sure what we can do (at least for 2.0)

2.0 is completely feature locked.
RC2/3/...etc until Final will not be getting any new features. Just bug fixes.
Sorry for bumping this topic but this is a huge problem for big forums. Isn't there any chance to add this before the gold release?

Yeah but couldn't this be counted as a bug? ::) Because it's a huge problem for big forums ...
I believe that would require a good bit of coding to fix and right now the developers are busy trying to get 2.0 out the door as posted elsewhere. they will not have time to work on "fixing" this if it is even considered a bug before 2.0 goes gold.
Frankly, if you have that large a forum, you're more than likely running from a VPS or dedicated, and you have a lot more control of the e-mail queue on that type of hosting.
This is certainly a feature request and require somewhat-significant changes to the mail sending feature of SMF.
i am just totally thinking about the new version. ::)

Yep, that's exactly what he wishes. And as I said earlier, it's a huge problem for big forums. After a while mail server can't send any mails, but SMF still continues to send mails, and rest of the users listed don't receive them.
