And, sir Osis ... this is exactly why we have not made a wide announcement.   We'd get people testing who have no idea what's going on and immediately start reporting that hole in the wall that will eventually be the bay window and the missing sink or thr exposed wiring

repair_settings finds 'Value not found!' in the following:

• SSI Username
• SSI Password
• Tasks Directory
• Packages Directory
• Exports Directory
• Cache System
• Enable Caching
• Memcache Servers

As far as I'm aware those settings have always been vacant. Everything else is using the recommend value and looks to be correct.

The error log is a bit of a horror show and I'm still waiting on a call back from our host provider.

alpha testing really depends on technically inclined folks.

No, no demo yet.  It's still in alpha.

This bears repeating.

Code in the alpha stage is like a house under construction. Only construction workers should be there. The wiring is probably all exposed. The new countertops certainly aren't in yet. Heck, there may not even be a kitchen sink at the moment. There might be gaping holes in the living room walls, not because it's "broken" but because the new bay windows haven't been installed yet.

Hi

I'v problems with "Illegal mix of collations".
My forum are in Swedish and when I use mods (what I think!)  are made for the english market, the database are changing between "latin1_swedish_ci", utf8mb3_general_ci and utf8mb3_swedish_ci.

I'm getting error when using the forum like this:

Yes, it looks like files are missing.

This is sometimes due to permissions,  and sometimes due to mod_security.  Your host may need to check if mod_security is triggering.

The attachment shows two of the errors as they appear on the screen. I did download the 'Large upgrade' package again to ensure that was OK.

Just to be clear I'm using the exact same procedures, installation and database used to create our test site. Nothing has changed since then, just a few more members and posts. The only difference was the upgrade package used was 2.1.3.

I'll run repair_settings and see if I can post the result. I'll also check the error log although I guess I'll have to run the upgrade tool first.
