I have an old database, however it's not in .sql form, it's the tables only! Can someone please tell me if/how I can get it added to a new installation?

Many thanks. I do not have mysql or php installed on my system, but if it can be done that way, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Old SMF database tables?

And MySQL u find here www.mysql.com
To install php u need to run a server eg. apache.

And sql is just tables rows and columes with some MySQL language codes eg. CREATE or INSERT table :)

I'm sorry-boy do I feel dumb. NO, the old tables are from phpBB. Which I would really like to save the data for the SMF forum I will be running instead. I do not have apache/mysql- but a reading on installng it on my hdd local now.

I'm pretty sure that converter needs PHP/MySQL installed.

Can t u test in online?

I mean u had a DB running before....well but for testing sure a local installation of apache with php and a  MySQL DB would also be good.

I should clarify.

I have the tables all downloaded locally. Locally I do not have php/mysql/apache installed. I do not have access to the mysql/phpmyadmin on the previous server. I would love to get the table into db form to use them on  a forum for archives if nothing else.
Thanks for the replies.

Their are some MySQL client s like

MySQL Front
http://www.mysqlfront.de/

Ver easy handling this application you need the IP of your host to connect its not localhost anymore.

With this you connect to your database and can administrate the Database.

Mybe this will solve ?
