On my forum, when someone reply's to a topic, that reply is on top of the original post, How do I get the original post to be on top.

Nathaniel

This is an option called "Show most recent posts at the top." for every member in their profile sections under "Look and Layout".

So I have to go though all the members profiles, and all that register to fix this?

Nathaniel

Nope, you can do it globally for each theme in the admin panel by going to the "Configuration" menu -> "Themes and Layout" tab -> "Member Options" tab -> "Change or reset default options - {theme}" link.

You will have to do this for every theme. The only way that I can see to stop people from just changing it back, is to take away the "Edit their additional profile options" permission from the regular members membergroup, although that means that they will be unable to change any of their layout options.
