Error in Sources Folder

Hello,

I recently updated my SMF to 1.1.7 using the package manager, it updated successfully but in the package manager it now says in red current version 1.1.7 and when I check my files to see what is not updated the sources file is red.  I have no idea how to fix this?  I didn't notice it was giving me any errors however now when I try to install packages it says: For the package manager to function properly, please upgrade to the latest version of SMF

and below that I see: "; // ]]>

Do you think this is the reason my package manager is not functioning correctly?  I have a mod installed I need to delete and I cannot get the package manager to work right! Please help!

Hmm,actually you might be able to see,which files are not correctly updated

First htttp://www.yoursite.com/index.php?action=detailedversion and after that click on Sources


then you will see,which sources files are not updated...

I see what files are not updated, I just don't know how to update only the ones I need? what should I do?

As far as i see,just your Subs-Package.php is not updated,so try to replace your not updated file with the attached file

Ok that did update my sources file, thank you very much!  I am still having issues though, now when I go to my package manager I get this error in IE :

Did you use Duncan85's Subs-Packages.php file or update your own?   Can you check that all files, other than language, are at their latest versions.

If so, then try to upload a freshly download version of that file from the download package of 1.1.7 and upload (backup current) and see if that restores functionality.  Are you getting any error log entries that might point to a specific file/s?

Ever since I upgraded to 1.1.7 I have not been able to use my package manager, it says: For the package manager to function properly, please upgrade to the latest version of SMF.  So of course if I try to upgrade to 1.1.8 I cannot do it thru the package manager and I tried manually it say it is not compatible with this version of SMF.

What is the exact issue you have with the Package Manager that doesn't allow you to us it to upgrade?

Have you looked at: SMF 1.1.7: Session verification failed when installing mods or SMF 1.1.8 update
But also: Manual Upgrade Instructions

I'm not sure where it's populating that body of text.  There might be an issue with the Packages.template.php or Admin.template.php files.  There were not Test Failed errors when you upgraded last?

no there were no errors when I upgraded to 1.1.7 but ever since my package manager has said that and has not worked.  I tried the session verification fix that you provided the link for and it did not work.  I checked to make sure when I upgraded to 1.1.7 that all the changes were made properly. 

I have no idea why it is not working...I am trying to upgrade manually but I am weary because I have never done it before.

Can you attach your Packages.template.php and Packages.{language}.php files.  Could be an issue with the $txt[] strings.
