Sorting function for the MOD section

would be great if you could also sort each column (Name, Author, Added, Downloads ) in the SMF MODS area.

A MOD rating would also be a very nice function

another useful function would be an option, to set how many MOD entries should be displayed on one site.

Currently there are 10 entries on one site. On monitors with bigger resolution this is far too less.

Yes, it needs a lot of work.  The backend for search is actually mostly there.

Wow, shattered illusions! I always thought the downloads area here at SMF.org was well, SMF with a very cut-down theme on it. How I am disappointed by this discovery!

I think you could easily turn SMF into a downloads section by just using a clever theme (and maybe a bit of source tinkering!), and the best thing is that it could have all the great features of the forum, and things like above mentioned search/sort would be easy to implement, as would allowing people to upload and managing the appropriate priveledges. Am I mad?
