Ok I have another problem. I have the smilies installed on the server but when you try to veiw them it just shows the X mark. Can you tell me how to fix that?

Remember, the smiley URL needs to point not to the smileys, but to the directory that contains the smiley set directories.  Furthermore, each smiley set should contain all smileys.

I'm guessing you created a "smiles" smiley set but didn't upload files for it?

Y is it set up in such a weird way i mean that eats up sdisk space to have a copy of every smiley in every folder.  So i have a folder of 300 another 300 and a 200  wich mean my 300 needs the other 300 and 200 the other 300 needs the first 300 and 200 and then the 200 needs the 2 300s now i just added 2400 smileys 800 of them are unique 1600 of them are copies. Will this ever be changed? its kinda a big waste!

anyone got an answer? i dont like to waste my space. and dont like to slow down the site, but i feel smileys give a community more uniqueness when u have many to choose from.

It's not that much of a waste of disk space, considering most people don't have 300 smileys, and most smileys are less than 1 kilobyte.  Fifty times one is just fifty, so even if you have 10 sets, that's STILL less than a megabyte.
