I dont see any poll bars in RC3 is this normal?

Only mods I have are AEVA and Ad Mgmt, both current versions.

Instead, I just see white space

Kays

Do they show on the default theme?

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

I am on the default theme (curve)

Give us a link please. If polls are not visible to guests on your site then a test account would be useful too.

Here you go:

I also created a poll w/ no smiley in the title. still no bar.

Try re-uploading the files to the images folder of the default theme.

Use Ctrl + F5 to refresh the page after you do.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

I downloaded and viewed the files successfully. I re-uploaded them.  They were at permission 644 like all other images. I also tried 755 777 and in the end put it back to 644. None of these things succeeded.  Help?

Thanks!

In the images folder of the default theme is there an image with the name of bar_stats.png. That's the image used for the polls.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

thanks kays, i was using poll_middle poll_left and poll_right.  I set to 777, hit Ctrl + F5, even emptied file cache.  Dont see it successfully.  I also downloaded the png and opened it on my computer successfully.  Not sure what to do next.

Kays

Files such as an image should be at 644.

If that image (bar_stats.png) is in the images folder I can't see why it isn't working. The code is there to show the bar which is done using the CSS class .bar

Is this a fresh install or an upgrade? Try re-uploading index.css to the css folder.
