Recent messages highlight

Hi everyone,

In my SMF, I want that the subforums where messages were recently posted are highlighted. How to do that ?

Works just fine for me on my test site. Just look in the attachment.

Go to Admin>Themes and Layout>Theme Settings>attempt to reset all themes

Try that, if you have trouble, you may have to go and ask the theme's creator.

Uh.. Before trying it, I'd like to know what is it for exactly ? Will it remove some settings of mine ?

No, it will just reset your custom theme paths and try to get them set to the correct path.

If your concerned, make a database backup, although I do not think one is needed.

However I see now that almost all of the content of my forum is marked as new. So what is actually "new" for SMF, and is it possible to change it (for example, deciding that "new" means "posted less than 5 days ago") ?

SMF considers anything that you haven't read yet as new, so any new post in the topic that you haven't seen yet will be well, new. That also includes new topics.

Unfortunately no, not without rewriting quite a bit of code, along with multiple database edits.
