No it was installed for me by Flamer. It has never worked right at all. Now it is out of control with a mind of its own and resetting itself, erasing our inventories and store lists and replacing it with dangerous ones and stuff that are not allowed. it is totally out of my control

You sure no one else has access to it? Might be worth checking your permissions in Admin -> Forum -> Members to see if no one besides admins has the right to add or remove things.

Fussilet was but he insists he was working on the database demo/backup/test site only. i have since demoted him and changed the passwords again just to be sure. Nothing has happened again, but it's too soon to tell, and the store still isn't working properly, and I still cannot get the backup to open. Notepad refuses to do it.

Have you tried notepad++ as I suggested?

I downaloaded it, and tried to open the backup file. It says the file is too big to be opened by notepad++.

Need some help here...

You could try this one: http://www.swiftgear.com/ltfviewer/features.html

Notepad++ is supposed to be 2gb but I have had it choke on less.
