Adding a live support button to a theme - where should it be added?

Hello everyone.
I wanted to know where the best place to be to put a 'live support' online/offline button would be? Also what line and how would I do this? I am new to SMF 2.0

if you want to add buttons to the menu, then best thing to do is this:
