Some doubt in Conversion

Sir,

Iam new to SMF. I ve been using phpbb and now iam changing to SMF. My requirment is to import only the registered memberss not the posts. Is there any way to do this only??

My 2nd soubt is that my phpbb site is in another host. So can i import it with the phpbb back up file or some remote ftp???

You could convert everything and just delete the posts after.

Try setting up and migrating phpbb (using phpbb's backup feature) on the same server as your SMF.
