2.0 RC3 to smf 1.1.12

Hi guys please how can I easily move from 2.0 rc3 to 1.1.12. I just want to move and no body should discourage me. There are several modding plans I have but only available in 1x
I only have a back up of my previous 1.1.10 and I don't know how this will help. Thanks

In theory the only way to do this, would be to first convert to phpBB and then convert back to SMF 1.1, or simply revert to a 1.1 backup - but there really should not be a real need to downgrade, and that is really not a good idea on the long run IMO.

the reason I want to convert is to enable me fix wap2. I really do not have the skill to do it as everyone keep saying they are not interested and that it is old fashioned. 95% of users in my site are mobile users and for now, the full version is a waste of time to me as I hardly earn a cent in 3 months.
See what someone fix here http...........very nice on mobile devices and he can only help me if I switch back to 1.1x. thanks

Well, as far as I know, the Wap and Wap2 templates in 1.1 and 2.0 are very similar in the way they work, since both are quite restricting standards. Still - the answer remains the same, if you really need to downgrade, you will need to do it the hard way - and convert your forum over to phpbb and back again.

also the method suggested is not supported by smf staff, so you would be on your own.
