Advanced Recent Posts/Topics

Hy again,

Can someone update this http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1069 for 2.0 rc5 ?

i want this cause the feature of "Show recent topics instead of recent posts" i used it before at 1.1.13 and it worked so fine but in rc5 its not compatible.

so if anyone can update it it would be very helpful

uhm ok it seems to working but i have now another guestion/problem

i was just seeing that now if someone Post and the other is answer the answered post is then the first post.

what i mean is that:

you see the last post is the first post but i want it normaly example:

First poster
Next Poster with answer
next poster with answer

and not like these:

last answer
second answer
starting post

From the description on the mod page

This mod has two modes:
1) 'Recent/New Topics' - Displays a list of the topics which have been created recently, in order of their creation. The first message of each topic will be shown. (default)
2) 'Recently Updated Topics' - Displays a list of the topics which have been recently updated, in order of the the most recent post in each respec

You can change the mode setting in the admin area:
For SMF 1.1.x: Admin -> Configuration -> Features and Options -> Layout and Options -> "Recent Topics On "Recent Posts" Page mode".
For SMF 2: Admin ->  Configuration -> Modification Settings -> "Recent Topics On "Recent Posts" Page mode".

Sry but thats not the problem, i tryed it and nothing changed so i put the loaded up the backup again, and i saw its same problem.

The Answered Posts are still on top as in the Image above and its nothing with the theme its on default too

the problem is that it have nothing to do with a mod or something its still so if i uninstall these 2 mods <.<

Mein problem ist das die Beiträge in den Themen nicht richtig aufgelistet werden, damit meine ich der erste Beitrag wird immer unten angezeigt anstatt oben(wie man es gewohnt ist)

Beispiel:

Antwort 1
Antwort 2

Bei mir ist es aber so:

Antwort 2
Antwort 1
Thread ersteller

Ah i misread your previous post

Go to: Profile >> Modify Profile >> Look and Layout... uncheck the box 'Show most recent posts at the top.'

but is there a setting to set it to default for all players ? like admin->configuration->...

Sure
Admin >> Configuration >> Themes and Layout >> Member Options
'Configure for guest and new users' then 'Change current options for all members'
You will have to do this for each theme... note that your users can always change it in the Profile/Look and Layout section if they want.
