Ref: SMF Database setup! Can anyone help?

I have one question i would like to ask you all. At the moment i am only allowed by my ISP to setup one database. Is it safe to install SMF into my original database with my other table files or is it best to create another database which is completely separate.

As long as you select a different prefix, you should be ok.
