Considering that mod isn't compatible with anything newer than 2.0 RC1, I'm not surprised it doesn't work. There were a lot of code changes between 2.0 RC1 and 2.0 final. I'm not aware of an easy way to do what you want without a lot of code changes.

If you're looking to colorize the board titles, have you checked this mod out? It will definitely work on 2.0.7

hello br360 i install that on but no work, also i need change TEXT color like photo show bro.
Any other idea?

br360

When you say it didn't work, were you unable to get it installed or that it didn't do what you wanted it to?

I can tell you how to change the text color in css, but being able to change the colors for each individual topic is a little above my pay grade. ;)

Have you tried asking in the mod request board? http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=79.0

That's an interesting question, not one I've seen asked before. There really isn't a good method to achieve this per se, but it seems somewhat possible. That second column is generating a post icon. You could in theory try to use that as your coloring method. I would have to ask first, what is the reason you need to color each topic? Is there a logical method to choose the color or is it just random?

Hmm...that really doesn't answer my question though. What would make one of the topics red or blue or purple?

I do not understand your question, I want to make the text color of the topics because I want visible, i do not want the traditional text in black or gray.
and if I answered your question, wants the visible topics in colors because I do not want the traditional color Just that.
now u can help me?

br360

I think what mashby is asking is let's say you have a page full of topics; what would be the reason for one specific topic being red, another being blue, etc. I would think that in order for this to happen, the person starting the topic would have a drop down list of different colors to choose from. What would be the reason for a member to choose a specific color? I mean if every one of your members picked the color orange for example, other than being very bright, what would separate one topic from the other?

mashby

OK, how about a link to the site where you want this done? I did a quick glance at my own site and this kind of worked. Add this to your stylesheet for the theme in question:
.subject.windowbg2 span a {
    color: red;
}
Change red, of course, to the color of your choice.

And thanks to br360 for that reasoning! :)

hello there guys, Thanks one more Time For the fast reply..
Let's see Asmashby say i need this to separate one topic from the other because the White text ( or grey ) is kinda common and i need something more Visible, About who can change the Topic color , i mean when one member start one new topic, mmm yeah Can be he can choose the color, or Only the admin, That part is something i don't care to much, i need start with something visible, and non Shiny of course, i Think one Red or blue also Orange are good colors for Separate topics
I say again, it is not necessary for a user to change the color of each topic, with power to do it manually from the css just me, NOW! if it is possible to create a mod that allows change the colors of each message and assign different users can do so, would be interesting, although honestly it is not necessary that they are changing the color of each message, so I say, So I can do spare me manually

Now, The Important part.....  I need Change The Color From Text on Topics, non From here

So mashby The last Message From you, Can do this? and if Where need Found that Code? into index.css or template ?

.subject.windowbg2 span a {
    color: red;
}

This?

One more time Thanks and i Wait for reply one hug

OK, that link was very helpful. I would be even more inclined to change all of you link colors which is pretty much an easy task. This is the file to edit:
http://vskgaming.com.ar/foro/Themes/VskGaming/css/index.css?fin20
Line 24 has this stuff:
a:link, a:visited {
    color: #666;
    text-decoration: none;
}
That #666 is the thing to change. You could consider changing that to darkred like your hover. #990100 is also a color in your header graphic. The robot looking dude's head. Experiment with those colors and/or find one you like.
