MySQL databases filling up with error logs

My account is running out of disc space.. on inspection I can see two large tables of errors in the database

473M  /var/lib/mysql/database_name/smf_log_errors.MYD
83M  /var/lib/mysql/database_name/smf_log_errors.MYI

Is it OK to delete these tables?

No, you can't!

Go to your admin --> error log, and empty the error log from there.

sorry I didnt mean delete the table I meant empty them!

Ok I have emptied the error logs from Admin.

You should also look into what errors are being generated and look into fixes for them.
