How To Post A Forum Announcement

On my forum I want to post a global announcement that I can pin?  Is there a way to do that?  Thanks.

well, that depends what you mean by "global announcement".

you can create a post in a board - and then pin that post.  It will always be at the top of that board messages list.

you can create an item in the forum news section. That will appear at the top of every page (exact location determined by your theme)

I believe that there is a global announcements or global sticky mod which would put a copy of the pinned message pinned to the top of EVERY board.
