SMF Calendar in Joomla Front Page?

Hi, is this posible?
I want to create some events as a forum post, send them to the calendar and then show that calendar in joomla's front page.

Any idea is valuable.

I would think it`s possible using the "ssi" funtion of smf. Read this:

Today's Calendar Function is just what i need.

did you look at the combined readme?

I have created two modules for using the SMF calendar in joomla.

1- events shows a text list of events entered into the calendar
2- showcal does just that...  displays a mini version of the smf calendar.

Yeah, I forgot all about that, sorry. I guess I have ssi on the brain, I`ve been using it lately thats why I mentioned it.
