A series of SERIOUS problems

ok i understand that this is a support board for SMF or watever but i need help with Yabb and it has become very hard to find that.

Problem A: my admin center is not working. any time i am logged in as an admin, on any computer in the world, clicking on the admin button does not go to the admin page, rather it returns the error: "could not download data from site". I have tried every possible (to me) means to correct this but no luck so far.

Problem B: when new members try to register the confromation email is sent with their password, however the email that the user recives does not contain a password. I have tried this myself and it does the same for me. I am relitivly sure that this is not a problem with just my board, since i saw a completly different website with the exact same problem.

Any help would be appreciated and apologies for posting on the SMF boards

If it doesn't send the password, that means they had to have specified one upon registering.

You may want to try upgrading to SMF, which might fix both of these problems... which could be caused by mods you might have installed.
