SMF as Standard Forum in Joomla

I would like to see SMF as pre installed component of Joomla as PHPBB is of Nuke. Anyone have any idea about this?

Not going to happen.  First, SMF is not a Joomla component.  It is a stand alone forum.

Second, Joomla is GPL, and SMF is not.  It's tough enough to keep Joomla users from removing the SMF copyright, never mind if it came with Joomla.

Third, I can't even say yet if a bridge with Joomla 1.5 will be possible.
