Creating polls like in iB?

Is is possible to copy the creating post mechanism of invision board?

Means an extra message box, where you can enter the poll. On each line you can put an answer. With this method you are much faster if you want to create a poll with more than 8 answers. Personally I think this is the fastest way. Faster than the poll in phpBB and in SMF.

Why?  I think that would be a step backward.

It would be an easy mod to make, though.

The current way of having 8, then having to modify it then submit then modify if you want to add say 30 options is a bit tedious. The idea of typing one then hitting enter though seems a bit weird. Would prefair something like phpbb had to be honest where you just click a button and get extra input fields...

I'm with [Unknown] here, however Ben_S is right also. Maybe let the user specify how many options he wants to add on the posting form. Offcourse if you change it and hit the button all the post screen should be reloaded with all allready filled out fields filled out again, a bit like the preview. You understand me right?

the methode of phpbb has one disaadvantage. the site has to been reloaded many times, if you want to add a great number of polls.

my suggestion: use javascript to print more form elements with a button/link click
