Seperated Language boards?

Heya everyone,

I would like to get my forum availible in more languages, but I don't know this could work out.

I don't want just 1 board in another language, like here the specific language support, but a copy of my board bu tthen in the other language, working together on the stat center, userdatabase is the same and everything is the same but the boards are not English but for example in Dutch.

Is this possible, if yes, how?
and if not, well thats a pitty

Well, you can install the other language packs to have SMF be in multiple languages, but the posts will remain in whatever language they were created in.

That wasnt my question,

My question is to have 2 seperated language's in 1 board, in 1 database, only with just a little code behind it like /forum/index.php?board=1?lang=eng like what ever it would be.

Unfortunately it's currently not possible to make the board descriptions change depending on which language you're using.

I do know what you're talking about though as Gallery2 has a feature like this (I'm not exactly sure how they do it though, as Gallery2 is an extremely complex script).

Well then I will think up a new idea to make it working... since it would be good to have more language's with many boards, not just 1 to chill in another language


It should be good to make a new option to make it happen like I said, or at least normal
