Stars can't save...

When I first got the forums, stars for regular groups showed up, like normal. But then I edited the names and saved them. The stars weren't there! So then I wanted to test something, I created a new membergroup and didn't do anything to it, I didn't save it after I created it. The stars showed up. But it was only 1 star, and I wanted 2, so I made it two and saved it, and they weren't there! Help?

Admin -> Membergroups
Click "Modify" next to a membergroup
Make sure that "star.gif" is in the "star image" box. If this box is empty, SMF will automatically change the "number of stars" option to 0.

That would explain the problem then. Try re-uploading Themes/default/ManageMembergroups.template.php.
