Cannot convert from MyBB 1.2 to SMF 1.1

SMF Version: SMF 1.1
Hi all,

I am trying to convert from mybb 1.2 to smf 1.1. I have installed smf in the directory below.

I uploaded them in both directories and I still get the same error when everything is set correctly. Could it be because the converter script is for mybb 1.1?

If so is there a mybb 1.2 script available?

Please provide some help on this. The error I get is:

Sorry, the database connection information used in the specified installation of SMF cannot access the installation of MyBulletinBoard 1.0. This may either mean that the installation doesn't exist, or that the MySQL account used does not have permissions to access it.

The error MySQL gave was: SELECT command denied to user 'matt4_smf'@'localhost' for table 'mybb_users'

Yes, I can provide you help but the conversion is risky.

From your primary error, matt4_smf has no permissions on your other database.

Caused the error:

Duplicate entry '22-478-0' for key 1

I deleted the data in the table and its still throwing a error.

Any help that can be given here please?

Have you verified that there's no duplicate data in your myBB favorites table?

There are lots of pages! 12 of them. I checked and as far as I could see I couldn't see no duplicates.

Is there anything that could be causing this?

I'm not sure what's causing it, but the easiest way to fix it is to change the INSERT statement in convert.php to INSERT IGNORE, which will force MySQL to ignore any errors that arise. The attached file should work better.

What error are you getting for that? I don't think MySQL supports IGNORE for SELECT queries.

Ok. Does MyBB store them as actual files then? It appears that the converter is expecting all the file info to be in the database.
