unable to uplaod attachments

I have played with the settings and I have not been successful

When I try to upload an attachment I get this error

Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Please consult your server administrator for more information.

I am running most recent version 1.1.1 from last night and tried all different configurations to no avail

Ideas would be greatly appreciated

How big of a file are you trying to upload. Most servers (hosts) have a limit on how much you can upload.

Thanks BigGuy  for the reply - I have set the set the upload limits via a php.ini file on the server as an additional one being passed within the forum folder.

However now that I have slept on it I remembered I have another php.ini file in the root directory passing these values

output_buffering = on;

I have removed those values (As I can't remember why I had them) and it now works as designed 

I am sure my root site will tell me when I need those values
