I've finally upgraded from YaBBSE/Enigma to SMF 1.1.1/TinyPortal and extremely happy! :D

However, I am now having a problem with the way my website is accessed.

If you go to http://www.sfboarders.com it seems like it is redirecting to http://www.sfboarders.com/index.php?www (Not sure why it's doing that.)

Sometimes if you go to http://sfboarders.com it will give you a 403 forbidden error. Sometimes it will work. Not sure what's going on as it worked before.

I did a search and find a common post that was on mod_security but this does not be the cause of the problem. Your help is greatly appreciated!. :)

Check your error log. Not your SMF error log but the error log that you /may/ be able to access via your web hosting control panel. Looks like and smells like a permissions issue. What's the index or index.template. or even index.html file's permissions set to?

755, 777?

Also - wild stab in the dark...

Double check, in SMF, your forum's URL settings. They're under core configuration in server settings.

SMF vs. Godzilla? Who do you think will win?

I checked out the permissions. Can you test it on IE and FF thru http://sfboarders.com and http://www.sfboarders.com for me ? It seems to be working now.  :) Also is that "?www" suppose to be at the end of the url?

Can't really test in IE at the moment. I am not booted to Windows. And no, no the ?www isn't supposed to be there. I suspect that is added by something other than SMF however.
