My package manager shows only a blank page, I had this problem a few day's ago, and I removed the packages from the Packages directory and it worked again but I have the same problem again, without uploading any package. Any idea how I can solve this problem permanently?

Used Theme - Manuscript, Classic Theme, but makes no difference at all.
Installed Mods don't know cause the packagemanger isn't working.

Can you log into the server where your forum is stored.  Then go to /forums/Packages and tell us what files are in there?

It would be something like: /public_html/forums/Packages

Are you using 1.1.1?

crusader

No I'm using 1.1 RC3, 1.1 is the reason I need the package manager ;-)

These are the files in Package dir:

backups  (dir)
index.php
installed.list
smf_1-1-1_upgrade.tar.gz

SleePy

crusader,

Try to edit the installed.list and remove the lines you that corresponds to the files you edited.

Ok, I tried that now no changes at all. Still the same problem.

SleePy

crusader,

Upload the Packages folder from a fresh install of SMF and see if the error continues. A file most likely is corrupted

Ok, I've find out what's causing the problem, which is the smf_1-1-1_upgrade.tar.gz package, but I still don't know why. When I remove this package from the Packages directory it's working again, but no clue why, so I am not able to install the smf-1.1.1-update.

That isn't made for the package manager. You need to upgrade manually.

Ok, I see, but I have some mod's installed it seems that the standard upgrade wipes out most of the modifications I have applyed to my board. Is there some way to do the upgrade without loosing the modifications? Thats the reaseon I wanted to do it with the package manager.

You'll need to re-install the mods. You shouldn't lose any data from them.

QuoteFor users currently running SMF 1.1 Final upgrading could not be easier. Simply log into your forum and visit your admin center - a notice should inform you an update is available. Follow the instructions to patch your release - this should not affect any modifications, language packs or themes you have installed. Alternatively download the attached patch file and upload to your "Packages" directory and visit the package manager to install this fix.

I found this in here:

if I understand that correctly, there is an update possible without the need to install all mods and themes again.

That is if you are running 1.1 (Final) not 1.1 RC3 as you are running.  You will need to upgrade as described above.
