I can't find my forum by searching Google.  No results come up and no one is finding it.  My site does not have a main page yet just www.instituteofcellularecology.com/forum

I installed the forum in the subdirectory even though there is no home page yet.  Could that be the reason search engines are not indexing it yet?

I need to create the key words right?

Unless your site is linked to from somewhere else or you have submitted your URL to the engines, they won't just stumble across it :) .

Key words will help eventually but a good idea would be to submit the above link to google so it knows that there is a site at this location.

I have a few sites that are live if ever anybody ever punched in the url directly but because they are all in testing I havn't linked to them anywhere or submitted the urls to search engines so they won't be found.

You have included a link to your forum above so Google will eventually follow that to your site.
