Once banned, is there a way to have google lift the ban? I must admit that I did something wrong few years ago...yes, it has been 2~3 years since...  :-[

I think it would depend on what you did and how they might still feel about it. You can ask them though,

haha  Who can blame you for trying to make some money...  but in my opinion, I think Google is at fault because they could have easily add the code that would prevent you from gaining by clicking on your own ad.  Same as when you vote for poll, it prevent you from voting again and again.  That's just my opinion.

Yeah, but they wouldn't want to lose the legitimate clicks accrued before banishment, now would they?
They don't pay people they ban.

How many times did you click on your own ads?

Google are unlikely to be checking stats from two-three years ago (unless you were about to receive your first payment).

It is possible that someone else was clicking on your ads. Please post the e-mail you received from Google with personal info blanked.

There is also some good adsense advice on the webmasterworld.com forums about the best way to appeal against your ban ;)

Try changing IP adress of your domain, and they apply for adsense again. Hopefully it could work  ;)

You'd need to buy a new domain and change your name and address in order for it to work :P
