While I love that I have to approve all members that come through my forum, is there a way to set something up where they have to answer a few more questions?

I'm REALLY trying hard to block out the spammers, and by asking jewelry specific (its a jewelry designers forum) it may help a little more.

Can someone point me in the direction of a mod or something that would help with this?

Thanks!

You could always password protect your boards:

http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=237

In addition to that I would enable Captcha registration to help prevent spambot registrations.

I have the forum set up right now, that no one unless they are registered and approved by myself or my moderator can view the boards.  I don't think that password protecting it is what we're looking for.

Can you explain what the Captcha registration is? I've not seen that before.

Thanks!

The captcha is a set of images that show up randomly during the registration in the forum.
They are letters in a box and the background is blurred in diffrent levels you set in your registration admin section.
When a user want to register, they get to the registerpage where they have to fill in the user, pass mail and so on, and before the registration is done, they have to type in those captcha letters to match the ones that show in the box. More of a thing to make sure bots dont register and start spamming the forum.

In short, a registration part you have to pass to be able to register.
