Hello everyone, Thank you for all the answers on this forum.  I installed Joomla with the SMF Bridge.

Under components ->smf bridge -> configuration -> Groups Tab::: Select which Groups in Mambo correspond to those in SMF.

1) How do I change or get rid of the following groups (promoted based on post count in smf)??????
2) When a user registers on Joomla using the community builder registration form, they are automatically registered in SMF.........What user level do they get?  How does the approval process work?  I would still like to approve the users for different SMF groups but would like to know how to set a default registration user group.

I'm confused as to what you are asking....

smf groups are set in SMF...   they can be associated with joomla groups in the bridge, but not deleted.

A user, on regsitration, is typically set to "registered" in  joomla and ungrouped + newbie in smf

Right.... SMF Groups are set in SMF.

I am asking about the pre-defined groups based on how many posts they make.  Is there a way to change or disable those?  Such groups as..............
