Loaded a mod, but noticed it hadn't been approved by an SMF admin yet? Was there another step i had to take?

Was just wanting to contribute back to the community. Nothing hard or special. Was the NFL Logo avatar mod.

Just curious, as it still says warning, not approved by admin yet.

it takes some time for mods to be looked through and to determine if they're to standards or not.  Its just ensuring that its safe for everyone to download and will function correctly on a Core install :)

SMF vs. Godzilla? Who do you think will win?

thanks KGIII, just thought by now it would have been reviewed/approved or what not. See other ones after me are already approved and avail for others to use.

It does take time - an oddity was someone posted this same thing just a bit ago and turned around and they had had their mod approved. It just takes time... There is no other real answer, it just takes time.
